Educators are innovators.
Our Vision
Our vision is to ensure every young person has access to meaningful education and opportunities for success, regardless of their starting point. We aim to be a leading provider of alternative education, equipping students with the skills, confidence, and resilience needed for further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
By collaborating with schools, employers, and communities, we strive to reduce NEET rates, close skills gaps, and empower a generation to shape a brighter, sustainable future.
Our Mission
At SkillED Innovation, we bridge the gap between secondary education and the vocational world, addressing the barriers that leave many young people NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). Our tailored, employer-led curriculum focuses on practical skills and re-engages students with education, building their confidence and competence to meet entry requirements for further education or employment. By aligning English, maths, and practical skills with career aspirations, we aim to reduce NEET rates and empower every young person to succeed.
Our Goals
Reignite Engagement in Core Education: Help students see the relevance of English and maths through practical, real-world applications that align with employer needs and future aspirations.
Reduce NEET Rates: Provide clear, supported pathways into post-16 education, training, or employment, ensuring students are equipped for life after school.
Inspire and Motivate: Foster a sense of purpose and ambition, empowering young people to believe in their potential and take ownership of their futures.
Build Pathway Awareness: Raise awareness of post-16 opportunities, including further education and apprenticeships, ensuring students make informed, aspirational choices.
Promote Vocational Success: Deliver an employer-led curriculum that prepares students for the workplace, focusing on practical skills, emotional intelligence, and workplace readiness.
Together, these objectives drive our commitment to creating impactful, life-changing opportunities for young people who need them most.
